Meghan Kane

Background

Meghan Kane is a former Special Education teacher who recently joined our team as the Assistant Director of Operations.

Born and raised in Freehold, NJ, Meghan always knew it was her calling to help individuals that were less fortunate than her. While in college, Meghan traveled to Guatemala on a mission trip to assist in an abused women’s shelter and at a hospital for abandoned children. She later went on to complete her Bachelor’s Degree in Spanish and Psychology from Rutgers University and became a licensed and certified Special Education teacher in the state of New Jersey.

Meghan spent the next 15 years teaching students on the Autism spectrum at both the elementary and secondary levels at the Douglass Developmental Disabilities Center and for the North Brunswick Township Board of Education. Meghan has also spent the last 10 years as a Home Program Coordinator for DATA Group Central where she develops customized treatment plans that promote independent living for individuals with Autism.

Meghan is the owner of Clean Cheats LLC, a company that specializes in freshly baked, gluten free cookies. In 2018, Meghan was the recipient of the Girl Scouts of the Jersey Shore, “Phenomenal Women Under 40 Award” for her work teaching students with Autism and becoming an entrepreneur.
